Mini Max

A restricted version of the FR 125 Junior Max to give the younger driver the opportunity to race Rotax Max.

Engine:

The only engine permitted in this class is the Rotax FR125 JUNIOR MAX with restrictors. The engine adheres to the Senior Rotax FR l25 Max fiche plus extensions for the Junior Max series. The cylinder is a non-Power Valve type. The engine is a single cylinder, liquid cooled, reed valve two stroke. No modifications to the engine and its ancillaries may be made to ensure a level playing field.

Brakes: Hydraulic disc brake operating on rear wheels only.

Tyres:

Dry: VEGA SL8 Marked ‘JAG’ 10x4.60-5 front, 11x7.10-5 rear.

Wet: VEGA W2 Marked ‘JAG’ 10x4.20-5 front 11x6.00-5 rear.

Weight: Minimum of 135kg including driver at all times.

Number Plates: Yellow & Black numbers.

Age: 11th birthday to 31st December of the year of 17th birthday.
